PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN PENCEGAHAN PERILAKU BERISIKO HIV MELALUI KELAS KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI PADA REMAJA DI SMAN 3 BUKITTINGGI

Abstract


WHO (2018) estimates that in 2018, around 1.6 million adolescents aged 10-19 years were living with HIV worldwide. Approximately 4% of adolescents of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and 11% of new adult HIV infections. In Indonesia, 46,659 HIV positive cases were reported in 2018 and 3.1% (1,446) adolescents aged 15-19 years and the highest risk factors were MSM at 20.4%, heterosexual 19.6% and IDU 0.9%. This activity aims to provide positive knowledge to students of SMAN 3 Bukittinggi about the importance of studying reproductive health. The activity began with consultation with the school principal. After conducting the survey, the implementation of community service was determined at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. The total number of participants who took part in the activity was 30 people. The implementation of community service is carried out by the lecture method, question and answer and discussion online. The tools used are laptops and use the Zoom application. The activity was carried out for 7 meetings, each meeting for 50 minutes after health class activities to prevent HIV risk behavior in adolescents
