IMPLEMENTASI “PASHA” (PAIN ASSESSMENT, STIMULATION AND HEALING APPLICATION) SEBAGAI UPAYA PELAYANAN KESEHATAN REMAJA DI SEKOLAH
Abstract
Pain during menstruation (dysmenorrhea) is one of the main problems that young girls often complain about. Dysmenorrhea causes 14% of patients to often miss school activities, 87.1% have decreased concentration, 80.6% are absent from school. Dysmenorrhea also has an impact on the physical and psychological aspects of adolescent girls, such as getting tired quickly and getting angry easily. Therefore, efforts to overcome dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls at school are carried out using the PASHA (Pain Assessment, Stimulation and Healing Application) application. The results obtained are a decrease in the average pain before and after with a mean different of 2.25. Furthermore, in the bivariate analysis using the dependent t-test, the p-value was obtained, namely 0.0001 at a significance level of = 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of pain management therapy in the PASHA application in reducing menstrual pain for adolescent girls at school. Through PASHA, school health managers and young women are able to independently overcome the problem of dysmenorrhea.
