PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGELOLAAN MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN YANG SEHAT DITEMPAT WISATA DI KOTA BUKITTINGGI

Abstract


Healthy culinary is a choice of culinary tourism for tourists visiting the City of Bukittinggi. Problems that arise as a result of food and beverage management that does not meet health requirements are diarrheal diseases and can also result in food poisoning. Of the millions of people who travel to developing countries every year, around 20% and 50% will experience diarrheal disease so that traveler's diarrhea is said to be a medical disease. So the method in carrying out community service activities is carried out by providing education in the form of counseling to 20 food and beverage traders at tourist destinations, namely the Canteen Field and the Clock Tower. Counseling using brochures is effective in increasing the knowledge of traders and they are aware of the importance of the hygiene and sanitation of the food they sell so that it does not have an impact on the health of customers.
