SURVEI PERILAKU MASYARAKAT DALAM UPAYA PEMBERANTASAN SARANG NYAMUK DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (PSN DBD) DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SALIMPAUNG KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR TAHUN 2022

Abstract


Based on WHO data, there are 2.5 billion people living in endemic areas and 50 million people are infected every year and cause 25,000 deaths. It is known that Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is the main cause of morbidity and mortality in Southeast Asia with 57% of the total cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Southeast Asia occurring in Indonesia. The number of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Indonesia until early December 2020 reached 95,893 cases.

This study used descriptive analytic method with interviews. The population in this study was 7,750 families in the working area of the Salimpaung Health Center. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique of 99 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire.

The results showed that from 99 respondents there were 60 (60.6%) respondents who had carried out the eradication of dengue hemorrhagic fever mosquito nests well, and had the same value as respondents who had good knowledge, namely 60 (60.6%) respondents, Respondents have an anticipatory attitude in the Eradication of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Mosquito Nests as many as 68 (68.7%) respondents, and good actions in efforts to eradicate Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever mosquitoes with a score of 86 (86.9%) respondents in the Work Area of the Salimpaung Health Center, Tanah Datar Regency.

The conclusion of this study is that the behavior of the community's efforts has behaved well for eradicating mosquito nests in prevention efforts Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. It is hoped that the Puskesmas and related cross-sector staff will always be able to provide information and cooperate with the community in efforts to eradicate dengue fever mosquito nests so that good community behavior will continue to be maintained and become a habit in the context of efforts to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever mosquitoes.
