ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF POLICIES, INCENTIVES, REWARDS, PUNISHMENT AND MOTIVATIONS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF HEALTH WORKERS IN THE DISRICT OF PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstract


Background :From the performance report of the Indonesian Ministry Health in 2016 from several health permonce indicators, performance is still lacking and does not reach te targets set by the Ministry of Health, including the percentage of health workers with good performance reaching 80%, nitnreaching the target of 100%. This study aimns to determine the analysis of the influence of policies, incentives, rewrds, and motivation on the performance of health workers in the district of Padang Pariaman.Method :Tis research is a descriptive analysis research with a quantitative and qualitative approach (mixed methods). The research population of health workers is 1075 people with a sample of 100 people, taken by systemstic sampling technique. Qualitative data collection techniques with thee method of documentation and interviews with 15 informants. The primary data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis and for secondary data ist wasperformed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively.Research Result :The results of the study found that there were policies (54%), incentives categorized as satisfied (51%), rewarded satisfaction (34%), high motivation (40%) and high performance (61%). The variables related tonp value < 0,05 are policy (p=0,002), incentives (p=0,027), reward (p=0,013), and motivation (p=0,007).Conclusion :The variables that most influence the performance of health workers is policy. Therefore, the government of Padang Pariaman regencyapplies more policies or regulations that can support the achievement of good performance.
