TUGAS DAN PERAN TEKNISI KARDIOVASKULER DALAM TINDAKAN ABLASI DAN ELEKTROFISIOLOGI

Abstract


Tindakan elektrofisiologi adalah tindakan invasive yang membutuhkan penempatan kateter ke dalam jantung.Tindakan ini dapat mendiagnosis irama jantung abnormal dan mengidentifikasi area jantung yang terpengaruh. Jika penyebab irama jantung abnormal ditemukan, terkadang dokter akan melakukan tindakan ablasi jantung. Ablasi jantung sering disebut juga dengan ablasi kateter, merupakan prosedur yang dilakukan untuk memperbaiki abnormalitas dari kelistrikan jantung dengan merusak sebagian kecil otot jantung yang bertujuan untuk memutus rangkaian listrik yang tidak normal. Tindakan elektrofisiologi dilakukan di ruangan cath lab dan membutuhkan tim khusus yang diantaranya terdiri dari physician, scrub nurse, teknisi kardiovaskuler serta teknisi radiologi. Peran teknisi kardiovaskuler pada tindakan elektrofisiologi yang dilakukan di cath lab adalah sebagai circulator dan monitor.
