ANALISIS OPTIMALISASI PENJARINGAN SUSPEK TUBERKULOSIS DI PUSKESMAS MANGGOPOH KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstract


Drug-resistant TB (RO-TB) is still a public health crisis and a threat to health security. Tuberculosis mainly attacks adults at their most productive ages. However, all age groups remain at risk. More than 95% of cases and deaths occur in developing countries. Research objectives To analyze the optimization of screening for suspected tuberculosis at the Manggopoh Health Center. Quantitative research method, the population in this study was all TB incidents totaling 28 people. The research design is a case control study. However, the sample was aged 25-65 years, namely 28 people with pulmonary TB with a total sampling, so the sample was taken with 1: 2, namely 28 cases, 56 controls with a total of 84 samples. The results of the study showed that the factor that influenced the incidence of TB was the role of cadres with (p = 0.000). The overall power of influence is 87.5% meaning that the overall power of influence is very strong. It is hoped that the puskesmas will increase counseling to the community so that the community understands more and increases knowledge about TB so that the achievement of screening TB suspects can increase and can reduce morbidity and mortality from TB, TB transmission in the community
