FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN TB PARU DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS RASIMAH AHMAD KOTA BUKITTINGGI

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The number of AFB + pulmonary TB in Bukittinggi in the 3rd quarter of 2018 in the working area of the Rasimah Ahmad Health Center was 20 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB. The design of this research is descriptive analytic with case control method, the number of case samples is 20 respondents and control is 40 respondents with a total of 60 respondents. Analysis of univariate and bivariate data using Chi Square test. The results showed that from 60 respondents there were 20 respondents (33.3%) who had pulmonary TB and 40 (66.7%) who did not suffer from pulmonary TB. there was a relationship between household contacts (p=0.0005), physical condition of the house (p=0.001 OR=9.444) and residential density (p=0.005 OR=6.231) with the incidence of pulmonary TB. It can be concluded that the physical condition of the house has a relationship with the incidence of pulmonary TB. Suggestions to health workers need to increase counseling and development of a healthy environment and clean and healthy living behavior to the community to increase public knowledge about the physical condition of houses with pulmonary TB disease so that people understand the importance keep the environment and home clean
