DETERMINAN SANITASI TOTAL BERBASIS MASYARAKAT (STBM) PILAR STOP BABS DI NAGARI SUNGAI BULUH SELATAN KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstract


Padang Pariaman Health Office in 2021 which carried out CLTS 61.61%, from data from the Pasar Usang Health Center in 2021 Korong who carried out CLTS 26.47%. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of community-based total sanitation in Nagari Sungai Buluh Selatan, Padang Pariaman Regency in 2022. This type of research is quantitative with a approach cross sectional, research sample as many as 87 people. Data were obtained through interviews and observations using a questionnaire sheet. The results of the study conducted obtained the application of STBM pillars to stop BABS 71.3% apply, high knowledge of respondents 56.3%, positive respondents' attitudes 62.1%, ownership of qualified healthy latrines 70.1%, supportive family support 60.9%. The bivariate results of the Chi Square test obtained p value knowledge (0.000 < α with OR = 9.778), attitude (0.014 < α with OR = 3.667), ownership of healthy latrines (0.000 < α with OR = 9.244), family support (0.000 < α with OR = 9.633) meaning that it can be concluded that it has a significant relationship with stbm pillars stop BABS. Knowledge, attitudes, ownership of healthy latrines and family support have a relationship with CLTS pillars to stop open defecation, it is recommended to the Health Service and Puskesmas to coordinate with cross-sector and carry out collaboration with the Camat, Wali Nagari and Community Leaders as well as provide education to the community to increase knowledge and information and impose sanctions for violations.
