Literature Review: THE IMPORTANCE OF WORK SAFETY, HEALTH AND SAFETY IMPLEMENTATION IN HIGH BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Andree Aulia Rahmat, Fajrina Hidayati

Abstract

A construction project can be interpreted as a temporary activity that lasts for a limited time, with an allocation of certain resources and intended to carry out tasks whose targets have been clearly outlined (Iman Soeharto, 1997). A construction project is a series of activities that are carried out only once and are generally short-term. In this series of activities, there is a process that processes project resources into an activity resulting in a building. The process that occurs in a series of activities certainly involves related parties, either directly or indirectly. The relationship between the parties involved in a project is divided into functional relationships and work relationships. With so many parties involved in a construction project, the potential for conflict is very large, so it can be said that a construction project contains quite a high level of conflict. architecture. Although it often involves other disciplines such as industry, engineering, electrical engineering, geotechnical engineering, and so on.
