It was reported that a female patient, aged 50 years, drowned in the Pariaman sea, found aspiration pneumonia due to nonfatal drowning. Bronchial specimen were carried out, a type of gram-negative bacteria was found, namely Pseudomonas aeroginosa. Patients received meropenem and fluroquinolone (levofloxacin). Based on clinical evaluation, laboratory and chest X-ray, the patient improved after 7 days of treatment.
