HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN DAN PENDAPATAN ORANGTUA TERHADAP KESEHATAN MENTAL SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH DI KOTA BUKITTINGGI
Abstract
Penelitian dengan design potong lintang ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pendapatan orang tua dengan kesehatan mental anak pada 118 orang siswa sekolah menengah pertama dan atas (SMP dan SMA) di Kota Bukittinggi yang berusia 15 - 18 tahun. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan wawancara langsung menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala tipe Likert. Kurang dari separuh subjek memiliki pendapatan 1-2 jt (28.0%), memiliki ayah dan ibu masing-masing dengan pendidikan tamat SMA (44.9% dan 43,2%). Kurang dari separuh subjek memiliki ayah yang merupakan wiraswasta (32.2%) dan lebih dari separuh subjek memiliki ibu rumah tangga (61.0%). Sebagai besar subjek memiliki gangguan kesehatan mental yaitu 89.0%. Dari uji Fisher's exact, tidak terdapat hubungan pendidikan dan pendapatan orang tua terhadap gangguan mental siswa sekolah menengah atas di Kota Bukittinggi (p>0,05).
